I am Caucasian, Catholic, and Conservative. I love GOD, my family, my country, good food, and the Dallas Cowboys. This is my chemical, cosmic, spiritual, crazy make up. The DNA will show where I come from. It won't show where I am going. I just have an idea and I step forward every day. I do my best to put what I have learned from my parents into play every single day that I live.
A co-worker of mine who is also Caucasian was railing on how being white is right and how minorities have attacked everything sacred to the white race! Whoa! And this kid is 25 years old?! Hmmm, someone had some nasty cerebral cereal when they were growing up!
When I was a kid the schools taught us that there WERE three races. Here we go: Caucasian, Mongoloid, and Negroid. That still stands. It stood when I was in the Army back in the Cold War 1980's. Y'all remember those days, right?
Somewhere along the way....the three race designation went out the window....now for example....my coworker considers Italians, Greeks, Arabs, and Hispanic non-Caucasians. Hmmm. They are not Mongoloid since they are not Chinese, Korean, Japanese and do not have traits that would identify them as Mongoloid. They are not Negroid since they are not black.
Folks, don't fall for the bigots in sheep's clothing that teach racism every chance they get. We have them in the right wing of the American eagle...the people. We have them in the left wing of the nutty pink bird. Both are WRONG!
My dear old Dad and Magnificent Mom and my Catholic faith taught me that we are all God's children AND that racism is the devil's perverse form of "love". In other words...racism is hate.

www.splcenter.org which is the online home for the Southern Poverty Law Center. Both organizations do a great job of monitoring ALL racist outfits. I mean ALL. These souls have info on black, brown, white hate groups.

The vogue thing to do these days in the racist community is to hate all brown skinned people...MEXICANS are the flavor of the day....and years to come.
My High School Spanish teacher would be proud of me: NO AL RACISMO....NO TO RACISM.
God bless each and every one of you. Remember: GOD IS LOVE. That's all we need to know when it comes to the subject of bigotry. If you embrace the cold hatred...you are going against the warm abrazo (hug, embrace ) of GOD.
