The Democrats must be scratching their collective heads! Their allies often make them seem crazier!
Case in point: The Teamsters. These guys are something else! They do not want Mexican trucks on American highways. They do not like NAFTA. We signed the treaty. What are we going to do? Try to do the Canadians and Mexicans like we did the Indians...Native Americans?
We need to honor our treaties!
Senator John Cornyn put it in terms anyONE could understand: " If the United States does not abide by its legal requirements, economic penalties can be leveled at U.S. businesses and exports, which will harm Texas jobs."
That's the bottom line.
A 2006 Dallas Morning News expose series brought to light the fact that we have unsafe AMERICAN TRUCKS AND TRUCKERS. Hmm....and yet these folks scare the public with tales of unsafe Mexican truckers.
The Democrats sure have nutty amigos!
